Wow. With preK girls wearing long black gowns and gold clutch handbags; little boys with shoes that coordinate with their "date's" dress? Little girls wearing strappy, jeweled sandals with heels? That's your "normal"? I won't argue that it exists (because obviously it does) but I still find it creepy, and inappropriate. Not "cute" at all.

It's the obvious pairing off as couples, as is indicated by coordinating outfits, that really makes me wonder where common sense has flown.

It's not hard to believe that SOME people own nice clothes. Not EVERYONE owns clothes like that. That is a simple fact.

Normal for what? Those were not typical Easter and Christmas dresses.

Agree. Not to mention the obvious coordination discredits the excuse that these are just regular clothes these kids had hanging in their closet, left over from a wedding or family cruise. Please.

I have been attending church for my entire life, and can't ever remember a young girl wearing something like that to a holiday service.

Oh my God.

If my son has prom, I must inform one and all that he will be attending in SpongeBob pajamas, because Mama is TAPPED OUT.

Cute idea but...Cheeses H. Another $150 worth of clothing and tickets and stress and trying to find parking in an impossibly tiny lot full of other parents shoving one another to get in line worth of "cute idea", I just can not do this year. Sorry folks!

My daughters had many nice dresses when they were little. (As they got a bit older, they weren't into dresses for a long time.) But they didn't have anything that resembled formal wear. They were never invited to be in any weddings and we have no family here. In any event, I doubt their girl cousins would have had anything similar to what was in that video.

Pre-K lap dances are next.

Gonna be tough to stuff that tip into the cleavage, though.

Agreed!

Those Bippidi-bop makeovers are downright SCARY!!! Why, oh why, did someone think THAT severe look should be THE signature look for Disney makeovers?!

IMO, these makeovers and pre-school age "proms" are age-inappropriate, and no reason to rush kids growing up, and being physically uncomfortable in the process.

You don't have kids, do you?

Pretty sure you don't work with kids either.
