I had sex with my partner on July 23 and twice on July 27. And on Monday (August 1). We had protected sex btw. I thought I was starting my period but there were only a few drops of blood on my pad. Then suddenly my "period" was gone. I had the usual symptoms like cramps and feeling a little bloated. I have also realized my boobs got a little bigger. I was worried about why my period went away so I googled it and found out about implantation spotting. Now I'm really scared I'm pregnant. What are the chances? My period is always a little weird sometimes I can go six weeks with having my period and I forgot when was the last time I had my period.

If you can't remember the date of your LMP (Last Menstrual Period) really the only thing you can do is test. If you conceived on July 23, 27 then it's not going to show up yet. You spotted today? No sex prior to the 23rd?

You can buy a pregnancy test at the dollar store or for a few more dollars at almost any store. If you can't remember the date of your last period, then you won't know if it's too soon for the test to show anything, so buy several and use them a few days apart until your period shows up.

Did you use a condom each time? If it did not break or slip off and he had it on the whole time, you are probably not pregnant. If you font get your period by Sunday or do, then go get a few dollar store tests and take one. If no period by the following weekend, take another one.

You sound very young. If you are going to be having sex with your partner, it might be worth going to a doctor or clinic and seeing if hormonal birth control (pill, injection, cervical ring) is right for you.

Get a calendar and a pregnancy test from Dollar Tree. Write down your periods and take the test.

I don't get when people have unprotected sex and then are "afraid" they might be pregnant. It's such a confusing concept to me that people don't understand how babies are made.

Get a test.

She said she had protected sex.

My guess is that this is a teenager who is very inexperienced in these things. I remember panicking when I was 16/17 even though protection was used... I think it's normal.

We use a condom every time. I'll probably go pick up some tests if I do not start my period within the next week.

I'm 19 years old. Thanks for telling me you felt the same when you were a teen. Did you ever tell your partner you thought you were pregnant?
