If this post is even real....
I just dont believe that a teenager with no credit and no job got a car like that, with a payment like that. There just isnt any "investment firm" that will throw their money away like that.
If it is real, and if he really got that car, I dont know why you're blowing a gasket (punny, huh!). When the first payment comes due for the insurance, when the first payment comes in for the car ($650?? My house payment isnt even that much) and he wont be able to pay it, they will come and get it.
My friends 18 year old daughter had to get a co signer for her car loan, and she has a job. This post really doesnt pass the sniff test.
That's what I'm thinking also about the age, sounds like something is missing from this story.
Take it back to the dealership and demand they cancel the transaction. If they refuse it's time to lawyer up. Mean while park the car and take the keys from your 18 year old. I'd bring a TV Camera to the dealership just to screw with them.
I always suspect someone with some fantastic story who has zero previous posts. Like, where did they suddenly come from to want to post their tale on here ?
Don
I can't decide if these "fantastic" stories are written by an author trying out new book ideas, a Psychology 101 student gathering data for a thesis titled "How Long Can You String Out a Ridiculous Story on the Internet" or someone sitting in the basement of his mother's house having a fine time living vicariously. I mean, there can't be that many flaming idiots loose in the world, can there?

Why not? Based on the posts on this website its a lot higher than you might think. I must know the only 3 sane people on the planet.
The whole story sounds fishy to me, but in our state, any contract can be cancelled within three days. No reputable dealership or any other business would set up a contract with a customer like this. It's no different than all the bad home loans that set up the recession in 2008.
People are still arguing about whether this whole thread was started by a troll? One thing that motivates a troll is to see how long he can keep a thread going. And if he keeps it going this long, without adding anything other than his original post, he gets twice as many troll points. The world is full of suckers who constantly take the bait from trolls.

I can't imagine even a loan shark making this loan; even they want something to be paid back on.
Subprime lenders will, but rarely if ever with nothing down.
