I did marry outside my race and have two children outside my race. It has never, ever been an issue. I won't care who my kids date as long as they are treated with respect.

I have always been sensitive to this question, because my great great grandfather married an American Indian at a time that this was not acceptable at all. I have always wondered what their life was like. My dad was a very handsome man. He had jet black hair, his skin turned red-brown when exposed to the sun and his eyes were so brown that you really could not see his pupils--unless you looked really hard.

I had a person at church who had a granddaughter that married into another race ask me that same question. She was wondering if she could bring her great grandchild to church and if he would be accepted. He was absolutely beautiful. Dark skin, dark hair, and bright blue eyes. And yes she brought him to church and yes he was accepted.

I have three sons and I could't care less what race their wives were. As long as the women they pick to marry are good people and make them happy, then I'm happy.

In fact, I think it would kind of nice to mix things up a little and add some different cultures/customs to our family - this whole Itallian/Irish thing is getting boring Plus, biracial babies are so beautiful!

What a better place this world would be if everyone thought the way people on this thread do.

No issue. One of my daughters did marry a great guy of another race and my beloved oldest grandson is bi-racial. No one in my family gives it a thought. Never have, never will. We care about character content and all involved are of good character.
