Too big for kids, too little for women- 14 years old who normally wears x small in juniors need a new bathrobe.
I've looked at Kohl's, Old Navy, Target
The x small is the big problem
Many girls/women enjoy wearing a slightly oversized fluffy robe. Has your daughter tried some on to see if they would work?
When my daughter was about that age she wore a 0 or even a 00. They often had those sizes in "teen stores". Maybe they would have a section with robes, especially during the holiday season.
My daughter also had a number of garments custom made by local seamstresses. They really were not as expensive as you would imagine. One seamstress was retired and did it more as a hobby than as a job. When clothes are custom made they always fit and you always have the exact color & exact fabric that you desire.
Good luck.

I was hoping to get them ( 2 daughters) as Christmas gifts and therefore surprises. But they are at the stage where they would rather pick out their own anyway. Girls this age sure are hard to buy for!
And I do a lot of sewing. Made all their clothes from the time they were infants till middle school. We are moving in a few months and I have already packed up all my sewing machines, fabric and notions. New house will have a nice designated sewing room on the main floor and I'm hoping they will start sewing themselves. A few years ago each one made pj bottoms and some shorts. I guess Santa will give money and coal as Christmas gifts this year!
Thank you for the suggestions. I can't rep you this time around.
Didn't think about Penney and couldn't find what I wanted at Macy's. thanks for the suggestions. Right now they are wearing below the knee largest kid but the sleeves are too short and they are getting tight across the shoulders.
Or maybe the boys section in a department store would have robes that are a little bit bigger then the girl's section.
