I knew I guy in a similar situation years ago from Australia. His name was Michael, but his last name wasn't Weed. It was actually Dick. His "friends" would call him "Mick Dick".

Now picture this guys friends using that name in a conversation here in the USA.

IE: (1) Hey mate did you see "Mick Dick" yesterday?
(2) Naw mate, must of been out. He may be in today.

[A another person passes by hearing the conversation, and stops]
(stranger) Excuse me guys is the "Mc Dick" a new sandwich offered at McDonald's?

Now picture these guys having the same conversation when a cop walks by.

I was at the store the other day, and the cashier asked the woman in front of me what her daughter's name was. The little girl's name was Scion. She was named after "daddy's favorite car."

Scion?! If you're going to name your child after a car, at least pick a good one with a decent sounding name.
