Actually, not it doesn't. As I showed I support such programs, I work and am fortunate enough to be in a high SES.

Warren Buffet believes in taxation for social programs. So do the Gates. Logic says that when you speak in absolutes, one single example disproves your point.

Firstly, we are killing horrible people that are a threat to everyone. So that's good.

But day care should not be provided by the government. If one cannot afford their kids, that is their own personal mistake, and not one they should foist upon others. If you decide to have kids, that is your own decision, and you should bear all the costs. To imply that others should be forced to pay for your kids is a violation of individual rights and tyranny. Pay for your own kids. Pay for your own life.

And by the way, no kids should be in day care ever. It's child abandonment and parental bankruptcy. Even if you use your own money. If you can't afford to raise them in person, don't have them.

No. Just NO!
Mainly because such "free" programs are never really "free". SOMEBODY has to pay. They are YOUR kids, YOU pay. I paid for my 5, you can pay for your however many.
R. A. Heinlein got it right: TANSTAAFL! (There Ain't No Such Thing As A Free Lunch!)
That is all too true!

Since the government has no money of its own, where will the money come to pay the employees and facilities of these daycares? Or do you expect everyone to work for free?

Your kid, your choice. Personally, I think national security "matters", while you having a kid that you have decided you can't afford does not.

NO it should not be free!
Why should I pay for your kids' childcare? You dropped them out, you pay for them.

In fact, I believe that school taxes need to be determined on the number of kids you have in the school district. I see a minimal amount to be paid by everyone, but when people start dropping out a half dozen kids, it is time for them to pay more.

But the socialists in this country continue to push for everyone to pay for their kids schooling through college, their healthcare, and their lunches.

Besides hey seem to want to have a say in whether or not a fetus is brought to term, or whether or not women can have access to birth control.

You likely know that the above is baloney. There are always innocent bystanders in bombings/attacks such as the one done in Yemen and Syria. Children were killed in many of those attacks, there are not a threat to "everyone" let alone "horrible people".

Utter and complete nonsense (at least you are consistent). We, as a society have already decided to socialize public schools, fire departments, social security, etc. Pretending that there is some imaginary line between public school and public pre-school is just that, imaginary.

So you would support a similar plan for other social services too right? If you smoke you have to pay more towards the fire department, if you have sketchy friends, do drugs, have guns, etc you should pay more for police, if you are healthy and likely to live longer pay much more towards social security and so on.

Where does personally responsibility begin? You make a choice to become a parent, its neither mandatory or necessary for survival. Why should the government (taxpayers) pay for every persons daycare. If you cant make childcare arrangements or take care of your own child dont have one. For those who find themselves in a hard spot there is child care subsidies and tax breaks.

LOL food should be free too. I mean, they can spend billions sending food to foreign countries, how about a little for me?

And cars.
