This year has been stressful. Im In the middle of moving out, trying to start school and get a car. And she's been an ass this whole time. No way no how. Anyone else having a bad mothers day?

Well that will show her!! She'd probably be happier if you used your money to move out faster rather then buy her a gift anyway.

Lol! And, as a mother of 3, I'm guessing you hit the mark.

OP, most mothers don't care about once a year efforts. So pat yourself on the back with one hand, and grab a suitcase with the other.

Are you around the age of 18? Trust me, she's been dealing with your teenage attitude for a few years now and is not worried about whether you think she's an ass or whether you get her a Mother's Day card. She's probably just happy that you're at the stage to move out and to figure out on your own that others aren't going to cater to you. Welcome to adulthood! Don't be too much of a snot tomorrow; you might find yourself eating crow when you need her to drive you to look at cars or to help you pack.

Nope. I had a lovely breakfast date with my mom, dad, and my oldest brother and his gf this morning.

I'm very grateful for my mom (and dad) and everything they have done for me over the years.

Mom is happy to see you leave...forget the gift. 19 year olds are more than a hand full.
Reminds me of my son. When he moved( I was happy to see him leave) out he told me he would never move back home. However, his roommate was always late with his share of the rent that meant a late charge was always attached to their rent. Guess who came back home and was glad to come home...With a different look on life...The best gift he gave to me was a card with a note that read----Thanks for staying on my back and leading me in right direction I cried! Please give her a card to show your love.

Nope.. not having a bad mother's day.

Are you the 24 yr. old guy who lives with mom but buys his own food and won't share?

I have a feeling mom won't mind if you skip the card or gift this year, really. You should probably thank her at least for letting you stay so long at your age though. Don't forget your food when you leave.

Good luck on the move.
