Trust me. We discuss it. At least here.

My ears were pierced 2 weeks after I was born. Very common in some parts of Europe. I loved it & was always happy they'd done it then. But no studs were used. At first, they put loops of string or thread, from what I've been told & then 20K gold full loop closures, IDK what that kind of closure is called, but the clasp loops into the earring, so they're very comfortable. I had rubies & emeralds as a baby :-)

I don't think I would choose to do it for my baby, but I never had or heard any negative connotations about it, prior to seeing them on CD.

Nope, it was male circumcision that her post was about.
