I know a few people who named their babies after where they were conceived...didn't the Beckham's do that? Or someone else famous. To me that is tacky...what kid wants to hear their name and think of their parents doin' it?

I know Ron Howard and his wife have done it. Not sure about the Beckham's.

How would you like to have a name called U.T. named from a Northern General from the Civil War? He was always called U.T

^^I'm so out of it I didn't know who the Beckhams are! Had to look it up! If I got the right people, one of their kids was named Brooklyn b/c he, not she, was conceived in Brooklyn. In the US, Brooklyn is a girl's name for the most part.

I actually don't think it's terrible. It's got kind of a cool, hippie vibe.

Alizabeth, on the other hand, is a crime against humanity.

Names mean things, sorry to say. We do not live in a world where people are totally unbiased.

Let's play Hiring Manager at a large company.

Two resumes hit your inbox. Both have roughly equal qualifications. One candidate is named Bill or Susan or Jaqueline or something equally mainstream. One is named Eclipse. Guess which one is more likely to get the interview? And don't lie.
