At birth, I was victim of a practical joke of the whole family - my parents asked my grandparents and uncles how I should be named- each one gave his 2 cents-...in the end, they couldn't decide which was best, so I've 6 surnames! I'm NOT grateful !!!!!!!

Reminds me of the old 'Dick Van Dyke' show episode about their son's name----Richard ROSEBUD Petrie. Anybody remember what all the names were that were abbreviated to ROSEBUD. Think it was Richard, Oscar,Sam--can't remember from there.

As a school teacher in Indiana, I've seen a few great ones but my favorite strange one is one that I came across this year. The girl's name is
Mi-cheal (pronounced My Cherie from the 1960's song "My Cherie").

Years ago, my mom had a co-worker who named their daughter Crystal Chanda Lier (last name).

It occurred to me today that I missed the boat. My last name is Crisp. I gave my children respectable traditional names. What was I thinking? So tonight I called them Apple and Cherry.
