When I was little, I LOVED the whole idea of Santa, but then for some reason, I always got too shy to sit on Santa's lap. I WANTED to...but then I'd get so shy, I just couldn't do it. My parents would try to encourage me...but they never forced me.

At the mall, every single child who sits on Santa's lap is accompanied by a parent or adult caregiver.

Every single one.

It's crazy to think there is a syndrome of Santa claus perverts out there trying to molest kids.

Exactly. It's sad that yet another tradition is going to be ruined either by PC garbage or someone spreading misconceptions/rumors about it.

If you read the link in OP's post, the woman who wrote this story clearly has mental health issues.
