The daughter definitely has a hand in this crazy non-boundary as well. Hopefully OP recognized the questionable insertion of herself into the relationship, by reading the responses.
I often wonder what happens to the OP who starts a thread, asks a question and walks away. It would almost be better if they just responded: “I get it.” or “You’re all wrong” ...something. This thing turned into a dumpster fire without her though.
