Well, I agree with what you bolded.

In my extended family, that's exactly what happened. BF was taking just one of the kids on outings. To make a very long story short, it was NOT a good thing.

Your ex doesn’t sound very bright. Most people are protective of their kids and don’t let them just hang out alone with a new person. As others said there’s not a lot u can do but I’d let the ex know how I feel for sure

This is a BIG reason it would take hell on earth to make me get a divorce.
