When he’s out doing his thing, change the locks. Arrange beforehand with the local sheriff’s department to do what is called a civil standby. With the deputy or deputies there, move his stuff to the sidewalk.
I have an addiction problem. I have been sober better than 30 years. Addicts are toxic. Many folk classify addiction as a disease and it is. Your son though needs to decide for himself to find his cure. Find for yourself and your other people an Al-Anon meeting, attend and participate. You will find that you are not alone. Hugs.
I hope your son may have a life free from addiction.
Hi dear,
I'm sorry to hear about your child's situation.
In my opinion, it is not an acceptable way to deal with this situation.
You may feel feeble to help them because they are old enough to make their own decisions. But, you should speak to your child, just like a friend. This can be accomplished through open and assertive communication. So you can learn more information about your child, and it will help them to express their struggles and concerns.
Then sit along with them and research different treatment programs that best suit him.
I hope your son may have a life free from addiction.
