She clearly DID consent to having this man enter her room. Incidentally, at what age does 'legal consent' kick in and who originally determined this ...God?

I hadn't seen this article posted here. Contains a little more information.
I still am curious, what did the dad think was going on here? Did he think he found a peer boyfriend - a boy about 16 years old - in his daughter's bedroom and intended to kill him for being there?
I think that will come out in this case - did he intend to murder his daughter's boyfriend, or did he somehow (who knows how) find out this was an adult, there in the dark? Did he think the man had broken in, and wasn't invited in?
I'd like to hear the answers to those questions. A man who believes he's found an intruder in his daughter's bedroom who has broken in and she's there terrified, vs. the other side of the possibility this is her boyfriend from school she invited in and they're both quite naughty.
Well, ok, since you put it that way, I'm wondering what the intruder/duaghter's guest was cited for, by police? If the daughter let him in, he wasn't trespassing. If he hadn't touched her (yet), what can they get him on? I know cops entrap men with this type of scenario, I just don't recall what the accusation is. In those cases, there's usually some suggestive back-and-forth over the internet, that can be used as evidence. Are they going to search the daughter's emails and text messaging?
edit: I see they charged him with child molestation. What was the charge based on, I wonder? The intruder/guest was found standing at the foot of the bed. Still not enough for "child molestation". And the father was charged with assault and battery. There must be an update to this, that includes shooting at the fleeing intruder.
Quote:
Ismael Casillas Padilla Sr., 41, was charged with aggravated assault and aggravated battery for attacking 20-year-old Keywontrezes Humphries, who faces a child molestation charge, according to the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office.
Messy case. Thanks for the link. Neighbors had alerted the dad to the presence of a strange car in the driveway. When he went to investigate, he saw his daughter's window open. Now, there are some helpful neighbors!

How would this, or a similar situation, be the result of police entrapment?

I'm totally okay with police entrapment of pedos to protect children. But it doesn't apply here. How entrapment has been used is in online chat rooms, where the pedo thinks they're talking to a child and sets up a meeting.
Trust me, the black guy WILL be charged, lol. There's zero tolerance for trying to hurt kids. Doesn't matter how much the "woke" crowd may try to threw a tamper tantrum over it. And the Dad will be fine. No jury would convict him saving his kid from a statutory rape if it even went that far.
The American public needs to learn more about Jury Nullification. It's an old tactic long in use, but one which judges, lawyers and the whole legal apparatus prefer that "We The People" aren't even aware of.

The fact that you don't find a legal adult hanging out with a minor (who isn't family even) in her room alone weird at all is scary to me.
The 20 year old is the adult and should have known a lot better.
20 yo male with a 14 yo female in HER bedroom consensually does NOT A PEDOPHILE MAKE.
I knew this thread would bring out the sex nazis... have at it.
