I have a 5ft 7" 16 year old son who weighs a very tiny 107lbs. He normally wears boys size 8/10 underwear till now. Recently he's started not wearing any underwear at all. Briefs, boxers and boxer briefs sit unused. Now it's become unsightly taking him places as frankly it's fairly visually obvious that he isn't wearing anything under his shorts. I also have hygiene concerns. He says underwear is too uncomfortable in the size he requires. Briefs he can't fit in the front and boxers seem too short in the leg. I'm a bit concerned...other than fattening him up so he can wear men's sizes.

What is his waist size?

Stop drawing attention to it.

Stop buying him children's underwear. He has adult size body parts which are not accommodated in children's underwear.

He is a male, most likely there are no hygiene issues

Go online and do some research. Hes hardly the skinniest person in existence and therefore somewhere there are underwear his size. Go on amazon

Buy him different size underwear. And adult underwear; he's not a child. He will find some that fit. Boxer briefs are probably going to be the most comfortable.

Boxer briefs would be my suggestion as well. A good one will offer the support of briefs, but with longer leg length like boxers.

Another topic discussing children's underwear.

Is a red flag going up for anyone else here?

Mens Hanes extra small or small should fit. My grandson could fit in them when he was a size 10.

Agree that boxer briefs would be the best. My hub, adult son and grandson all like them.

Mens small will probably fit. My husband says Jockey bikini briefs are the most comfortable.

If someone's old enough to DRIVE, he's old enough to be buying his own damn underwear.
