Not much of a mother figure to those kids huh? Sorry, I must be the only one who thinks this is warped. You marry someone with kids and they live with you you're also the parent. You are helping raise them and that includes discipline.

I don't kiss on the mouth with kids. I only know a few other parents who have the same aversion. I am not sure why I have it, but I just do. I won't kiss my own or another child on the mouth, and raised mine that we kiss on cheeks.

Mouth kissing with other than an adult partner is not common where I live. I have seen it done, but it makes me feel...eeewwww. I never had the slightest urge to kiss my children on the lips.

We didnt have the kid prior to getting married nor was my husband getting him planned.
