I'm right there with you JTJmom, my "baby" will be 17 this fall. She is an awesome young lady, doesn't like to dress like a ****, likes to help others, is a great role model to her friends, always asks permission to do everything...and at her last physical she remarked to her doctor "nope, no birth control pills, I'm waiting till I get married". The doctor gave her a great big hug! She has never thrown a tantrum in her life, she is very understanding and treats her little brothers with love and respect. She just got an awesome boyfriend who shares in the same interests as her, music, art and just hanging out laughing and acting silly. She doesn't drink, smoke, stay out late, watch r rated movies or use crude language. She loves church and family.
There ARE good kids out there.
Good job!!

Congratulations! Very good to hear.

I cannot say the same for my daughter but good to hear it can happen as I'm holding out hopes my 12 year old son will continue in his path of good nature and make me a very proud mother of a 16 yr. old son. Gave me renewed faith it can happen.
