I went to the UK on a working holiday when I was 21. (I'm Australian)

My parents helped me with college by saying I could live at home without paying as long as I was in college so that's what I did - but since I was also working, I decided to try roommates and an apartment when I was 20, then moved back for the summer, then I decided to study in Mexico the next year, then moved home for a year since I had used up all my money doing that and then moved away for good about 2000 miles away.

I left for college at 17. I got married at 19 and moved out for good. Still married to the same man, so... good decision for me.

At 17, in my senior year of high school, I moved into a family friend's home. My Dad was taking a 6 month short term assignment out of the country, and being senior year, it was a tough time to move school systems. (I did have to change schools though, which sucked.) After graduating, I moved back in with my parents, who were now back from the assignment, for 2 months over the summer, then at 18 I moved out for college and never moved back.

At 16 I moved across country for reasons I won't share and stayed there for just under a year. I went back home when I was 17 and my step father sold me (gave it really, it was so cheap) his fire bird and I packed up and drove across country and settled in MPLS. I stayed with a friend for a few weeks and then got my first apartment. Two years later I was on the road for a several year road trip.

17 and never looked back. It sure wasn't easy, but it was way better than living at home.

I moved out when I was 20, in 1978. My parents would have loved for me to have lived at home until I got married but I wanted my freedom first.

I went to boarding school at 15, does that count?

Otherwise I moved out to go to college at 19 and never moved back.

I went to college at 17, but lived at home during the summers. I did not move back home after college graduation and I was 21.

Maybe this poll should be, "How old were you when you started supporting yourself completely?"
