I have a survey drawn up, if you would like to take it, message me and I will send it to you.
I really appreciate your help!!

Well, my kids are grown now, but the grandkids come over.
When I was a kid, the thing I looked forward too was going to my grandmothers house for the summer. I lost my mom when I was only 6 months old so I used to spend summers with my grand parents. But when I went down there, I wouldn't take any of my toys because I knew that grandmother had better stuff. The heck with my little tractors and trucks. I was looking forward to going down there.
Grandma quilted. We're talking serious quilting. She saved all of her thread spools. She had 5 or 6 grocery bags, full of spools. I could invent more things then what you would believe with those spools. I'd build a farm site, maybe a castle, a whole city, just let my imagination run and you'd be surprised.
When my grandmother passed on, I got those spools. I still have them here. I have also purchased toys and what not for my grandkids to play with when they come over. But you know what? They walk past the John Deere tractors, and the trucks, and the video games, and they drag out the spools. Seems that being creative still wins out.
