How many children do cars kill? Let's get rid of them, too.

Cars are not considered lethal weapons.

Uh, yes they are. Ever heard of "vehicular manslaughter". People use cars as a leathal weapon all the time.

While the gun may have been the "thing" that did kill him it was NOT the CAUSE! A gun by itself does not kill anyone. A gun in the wrong hands CAN kill someone. A car sitting still does not kill someone. A car being operated by someone that does not know how to handle it can kill someone. Happens everyday.

Although people die in auto accidents, cars themselves are not considered lethal weapons. Cars are designed for transportation.

On the other hand, guns are designed for the sole purpose of killing and maiming, and as such, they are used in wars, hunting, and self-defense.

Guns are dangerous. They are weapons of murder and destruction, and this is why gun control is important, because we all know what happens when guns fall into the wrong hands, as is evidenced by the death of this young child.

Remember, guns don't kill people.

Bullets do.

You should be much more worried about pools, fires, cars, choking, before you ever start to spend a single minute worrying about guns with children.

That's right! I think the father of that 4-year-old had the exact same ideas in his head.
