Last week, the day before thanksgiving, I came home from Iraq. I had been gone total for right around a year. I have two children, aged 6 and 9.

Fastforward to today.

Today, my youngest son wanted to go to his el. school for breakfast with Santa. All of the money raised went to the PTA. So, in other words, it was for a good cause and my youngest still believes in the magic of Christmas.

My oldest though does not believe any more

Well, after eating we got in line so the boys can sit on his lap. The oldest played along for the younger one. Afterwards, I went up to 'Santa' and asked what my boys asked for.

Their wish? For their Daddy to stay home

Oh, that really is sweet and I hope Santa can grant them that wish.
