No-you can claim all your kids on your taxes (well, minor kids). No ceiling.

Not everyone who is open to as many children as God allows has 18, or many. Some have 6, some have 2, some have none. It's not likely that every Duggar child will also have 18, even if they all follow the same practice as the parents.

I admire this family. They work together to move through life, as a team. I am going to read their book when I get a chance to pick it up.

I was told you could only claim up to a certain number and that the IRS had run into families letting others use their children and claim them since they could only claim so many.

I wouldn't let my daughter watch this show for fear of the crazy influence it could be.

Last year they got back at least $5100 in child tax credits ($300 ea kid) plus another $1200 as a married couple as part of the Stimulus Package. Its true, there are no caps on dependent exemptions.

You can only claim I believe two children for EIC, but you can claim all minor dependents as deductions.
