There's nothing to worry about, particularly. Most Americans tend have an obsession with personal privacy that can only be described as neurotic. What do they think people do in the parts of the world where whole big families live in one or two-room shacks? Privacy of the kind Americans usually enjoy is a luxury, not a human right or a commandment from on high.

If DS shows proper consideration for people he doesn't know well, it's not a problem that he's less inhibited around his immediate family. So unless you are personally repelled by it, I'd let it be.

It's not so much that his bodily functions gross me out or anything -- and I actually am pleased that he feels close enough to me to just come in and pee while we're talking -- I am more concerend that I might, in the longrun, be doing some type of psychological damage. You know how if boys see their Moms naked it has negative effects (he doesn't see me naked!-- that's just an example!). Well, in reverse, if the Mom sees parts of HIM naked from time to time, can that be a future problem?

The whole nudity taboo is societal and cultural. He will not have psychological damage from seeing you naked or from you seeing him naked.
