I had a child 16 years ago with a lover of 12 yrs. He was married and it was his choice to tell his wife. I agreed to a minuit amount of child support. I recently filed a petition in Family Court for the 17% awarded in the New York State Child Support Guildlines. This individual is very wealthy but from research I have found he transferred his business and his home into his wifes name and now claims an income of 50 some-ot dollars per year. He is a multi millionaire and lives as one. I want my daughter to go to college and now because of my kind nature I may have caused her chances to be in peril. What are my options in preparing my defense for his Fraud?? A few months after she was born he tranferred his business to his wife and in 2005 he tranferred his home with an estimated value of 1 and a half million. I am not a selfish person as you can see but this is unfair. I am of very limited income and my daughter lives in sqauler. No public assistance, ever.

Why are people sleeping with married men and then wondering why the man isn't helping?

The man is required to help whether he is married or not, if DNA shows he's the father.

Absolutely agreed.

I just wonder why this happens at all.

He won the race to the courthouse. All you can do is spend a huge amount of time and effort and money trying to get things reversed from what they have become. That's how it works.

For 12 years you slept with a married man. Your child is now 16 and you want to know how to get more money? Your daughter has lived in 'squaler' for 16 years and you want to change it now? Something isn't adding up here..

Okay let us not be judgemental here she needs help and most of all she needs a family court attorney .I would inform his wife that he has a daughter and she might just step up and do the right things assuming she does not know that he had a daughter with this woman . does she know ? if not I would go that route and see what the wife does . if she choose to ignore the fact that her husband has a child out there then you get yourself a family attorney and sue for back child support and everything else you can get out of them for her support because they are obvious non caring people . good luck to you .

Default Fraud. Assets

No, no Attorney. I sent a copy of his transfered Business and photo's of the properties from Google . I also sent a copy of his home's recorded mortgage transfered to the wife in 2005. He's claiming that he makes 800 a week
