I know a unique name that you might like since you live in Bullhead (I have relatives there). My name is Arizona. I love it, and so does everyone else.

I like classic names, but hey to each their own. (Also, my last HR person wouldn't interview anyone with a first name she didn't know how to pronounce, so that does happen.)

Anyway, lately I've heard:
Ariana
Fiona
Bree
Jade
Jolie
Peyton (seems really popular lately)
Laila

That is really nice az_mom! I really like that for a name...would have never thought of it .
However, my daughter HATES it here and I really doubt she would EVER name her daughter after anything to do with Arizona
But I will mention it to her!

I will mention the other names on here as well! Thank you all for your input!

Kawgpz....A friend of mine has two girls and named them both uncommon names:

Sadie
Leena

A few others:'

Isadora (Izzy for short)
Mia (I've heard it pronounced "Meeah" or "Miya"

Old babysitters (they were sisters):

Tierney
Kendall

I hope everything goes well for both your daughter and your grandchild. Know that you are a hero of sorts (I think you know why ) and you and your family are in my prayers. Keep us posted about the baby.

Beth

Thank you for your kind words Beth Very much appreciated!

She actually wanted Sadie...however, we used to have a dog named that and it would just be too weird...lol

Thanks for the suggestions!

I think a name has to come from within. You might have names all picked out and when he/she is born.... the name just doesn't fit.

But on the other hand when I was pregnant I didn't care if I was having a boy or a girl. Either way the name was going to be Billy/ Billie.

I now have a beautiful 8 year old Billie Jo. And boy oh boy does the name fit her. She could have never been a Jessica, Vanessa, or Jordan. She is in a class of her own.

And let me tell you.... Billie Jo is unforgettable!
