What item did you use as a kid, but today's kid would go what is that if you showed it to them or a picture of it.

Typewriters. I learn how to type in typing class in high school on a type writer that you really had to punch the keys and push the carriage back to go to the next line.

Ill never will forget my niece came over to my moms house and to this day she still has this rotary phone that is hard while to the wall
(no jacks) in her basement.
My niece was confuse how to operate it.
When I was a kid I actually won some radio contests on that very phone.
I would dial a number then assist it by helping it go back so I could dial the next number.
The tip of my index finger would be blue.

Feel free to share.

A record player and records. When I was in college, I remember having to explain to a much younger cousin what a 45 was, why we had to put the little disc in the center to fit it on the record player, and why sometimes a penny on the needle helped a lot!
