That's how I took it. Very sad. I always check twice when my DH and I are leaving somewhere separately, to make sure he knows that he's got the kids or he checks to make sure I know I have them.
That poor baby. Just sitting at a table all alone. Even after both parents knew neither had him, and the grandparent didn't, they still didn't call authorities until the next day. WHAT WERE THEY THINKING????
I just hate that the boy is now in foster care. This could have all been avoided.
The boy is in foster care because the mother called the father and grandmother, asking if they had the child, and nobody did anything to find the boy once they realized the boy was missing.
