...so, did any of the other mothers here get sucked into going to a Twilight New Moon release party tonight? Or am I the only idiot?

Given the problems we've been having with dd#1, it feels kind of nice to be able to do something with dd#2. She'll actually tolerate me being around , of course my instructions are "Dont' talk" when we're there

Since my children are grown, I have no idea what a "Twilight New Moon" release party is. I suspect it's a late night Harry Potter party.

I have done the midnight Harry Potter parties, and I have stood in line at game stores for the release of a new video game.

Consider yourself lucky it's a Friday night. I've gone without sleep on worknights for things like this!

Have fun!

Yes, it's a late night party for the release of the DVD. I even had to knit my daughter fingerless mittens for her Alice costume .

I'm planning on sleeping in tomorrow.

Oh you're sweet to go with her. I'm sure it will fun!

I was up in Olympic Park last summer and got to see the "Twi-Hards" first hand in Forks...crazy! Although I admit I'm in my 30s and did enjoy the books
