DALLAS—A woman is accused of throwing her year-old son into her SUV in a failed attempt to stop the vehicle from being repossessed in Dallas. Krystal Gardner of Tool was jailed Wednesday on bail of nearly $3,800 on charges including child endangerment related to abandonment, no driver's license and no insurance.

You live in a police state. Get used to it. The police can do whatever they want. The police can confiscate your baby, and then accuse you of child endangerment. She didn't abandon the baby, she was standing right there. She didn't need a drivers license, she wasn't driving.

You could be next. In a police state, only the flimsiest excuse is needed to make the rest of your life a hell that you will never escape from.

No license, no insurance, no baby, no car. She'd better keep her rent paid up.

Yet another confirmation about how anyone can have a baby...all you need is sperm-meet-egg. Unfortunately that can be done even in total morons.

What part of She THREW a ONE YEAR OLD into the SUV window. just to keep the SUV that she:

A: could not afford
B: didn't pay for or actually own
C: did not have a license to drive
D: did not have insurance
E: is a total frakkin' idiot
F: values material items over human life.

"Police state" MY ARSE.

It's another example of not taking responsibility...it must be the police's fault and not the fault of a mother who doesn't pay her bills and chooses instead to put her baby in between herself and a repo man. It's a spiral of blaming someone else for your lot in life and I feel horribly sorry for the baby who will grow up with a mother who puts her own materialistic needs ahead of her child. Honestly, do you actually KNOW anyone who would do something like this? I take comfort in knowing that these stories hit the news and most of America gasps in outrage.

Yes but obviously the baby wasn't as important to her as her car.

When you don't pay for a car, you don't just get to keep the car. She should have turned the car back into the dealer when she realized she couldn't pay for it.

That is not a police state, she was a thief.
