higher taxes don't bother me. I pay higher taxes from people eating too much fatty foods and getting heart disease, but such is life people will eat what they want to eat.

By the by, why is the bold part of any significance? Again, I don't know any college kids, so what they do is of no emotional concern to me.

In my opinion, there are two kinds of binge drinkers.. the kind that grow out of it, and the kind that don't. I have been an active binge drinker since I was 13, I am 22, and I can promise you that my consumption of alcohol was a lot more lucrative when I was 16 that it is now.. My father was a severe alcoholic that was emotionally abusive, so it's not like I haven't had an example of alcoholic abuse and the damages it can do. The truth is, I know very very few people my age who are not binge drinkers. The worst part is, what I consider binge drinking for me in social drinking to all of my friends. I am 5ft and 115 pounds, 4 tall mixed drinks and 3 shots and I'm usually pretty drunk.. When I am at my drunk lvl where I know I'm going to have a hang over, I usually stop and switch to water until the bar closes... but every once in a while, one of my friends will buy me a shot and say "c'mon just one more" and that turns into about 5 more where I have to be fireman carried out of the bar. When I was 16 though, it was definitely drink til you puke, and then drink til you pass out. So, I definitely think that I've gotten better. I know that I can't drive after I have 2 drinks or 1 drink and 1 shot! I go out once or twice a week and have one drink and leave most of the time, where as 2 years ago, it was absolutely every night and I would try to drink as much as my 6 ft 190 lb boyfriend. I feel that I am definitely growing out of my binge drinking stages. My boyfriend on the other hand binge drinks with his best friend every night until he passes out and he's 28. There are people who grow out of it, and people who never will.
