I have seen women completely flop out a tit fully exposed. It was fully exposed for several seconds before she started feeding. Yes, there are women who do not care if someone sees their tit because breast feeding is "beautiful". Really didn't understand why her first step was exposing her tit but since its legal, I guess thats ok! If any women started breastfeeding in my dads old restaurant, I would have kicked her out ASAP. Considering people are eating and many people do get offended see this occur, its bad for business. When the hell did kicking someone out of a business become news? That is complete utter BS. My dad kicked out a few people over the years for being rude. Half of them started playing the race card after he said you need to leave.
And you know what? They are WELL WITHIN their rights to do so. Sorry friend, but your uncomfortable feelings towards BFing doesn't trump the right of the mother to feed her child in public.
You are rambling and making no sense. Methinks you have a problem with many, many people and the problem is really you.
(And why were you looking at that woman's breast for several seconds? If you were offended, why didn't you look away?)
In our rush to condemn, we forget that our own behavior makes up at least half of the equation. Civilized behavior requires averting our own eyes from indiscretion, not gawking or pointing it out to others.
So you have no first hand experience to prove any of this is true and unbiased? Sorry, this tells me nothing.

It is well known that societal and cultural attitudes towards breastfeeding influence breastfeeding behavior. When our society does not support women breastfeeding in public or only under certain conditions many women will choose to bottle feed to avoid embarrassment, shame or simply choose the bottle for reasons of convenience.
I did not ignore anything. That study had nothing to do with breastfeeding in public.

My kids have made fun of others. And you know what? They have been severely punished for it. I don't go for that and it's a HUGE no-no in our book. But I guess "some" parents allow their kids to act like bratty little snots.
You 'severely' punish your children for being children?

Leave it to the prudish, f'ed up West to make BFing into some taboo thing that must be hidden.
Then move so you can go bare. We won't mind at all.

Exactly, they want to create discomfort. IMO, that has nothing to do with the baby and what is good for it. It's all about throwing public breastfeeding IN EVERYBODY'S FACE.

For the hundredth time, nobody thinks breastfeeding is indecent. You have to find another tact because that one is getting old.

It's actually quite funny.
What's funny is that public breastfeeders think that. Actually, people going about their business do not cause a public spectacle and bring all that negative attention to themselves. We do not expose other's and other people's children to the private areas of our bodies. We do not insist that we can do whatever we want in front of anybody we want.

What is the purpose? Any adult is aware people feed their children by one way or another. Exactly what is the point in using your children to prove YOU can breastfeed anywhere you want? That isn't about the babies. It's about lazy women who choose to not make a point of being considerate of her baby and the people around her.
Do you have a problem with breastfeeding in a public place if you aren't aware that it is happening? For example, a woman in the next booth at the restaurant is nursing, but nobody but her dinner partner is aware of it. Is it still inappropriate?

Um... why would these international journals lie? Don't you think someone might call them out on it? Are you seriously disputing that people all over the world breastfeed in public with no problems? LOL!
Here's the thing. This woman HAD READ UP ON the regulations and I think she was looking for a confrontation. Women have been nursing their babies since the dawn of man and there are ways to be discrete and considerate to others about it. If this woman was being discrete, then no one would have been aware she was doing it. Nobody wants to hear giant sucking sounds as they are eating in a public restaurant.

If you can hear a baby nursing, then they're not latched on correctly.
I do, however, find it offensive to see people chewing with their mouths open. Let's pass a law making it illegal!!
I was at the mall. I look to the left and see a women flop her tit. Not something you see all the time. Any straight male would look for a few seconds. You women are crazy about breastfeeding. There are plenty of legal things which people find disgusting. Its all about common courtesy.
