MULLION, England, April 22 (UPI) -- A British 15-year-old is being credited with saving his father's life by using a bottle of Coke to extinguish flames that engulfed him.

Andrew Wythe, 52, of Mullion, England, said he was pouring gasoline on a garden bonfire Sunday when the flames grew to engulf the front of his body, The Sun reported Thursday.

Whitening toilets, cleaning battery cables and now putting out fires. What do you use Coca Cola for?

Soap scum and water deposits in bathtubs, presoak for greesy or bloody laundry, dishwashing, drain cleaner, and rust removal.

Those are the uses I already knew.

We had a vehichle fire once (the transmission) - I jumped out of the car, hauled the kids out, and grabbed my son's orange Sunkist soda off the floor... worked like a charm! It put the fire right out... my son still talks about his Sunkist soda that I used that day (and it was 10 years ago)...lol. And just think, we drink that stuff.

Why was the guy pouring gas on a bonfire to start with?
He doesn't sound like the sharpest tool in the shed, is he sure the boy is his?
