I live in downingtown, but I am in the Cville School district, border line of both cville and dtown. My son is 18mts and I want to know if anyone knows any way to change the school district he will have to attend. Any help/suggestions are appreciated.

Yes. Move to the school district that you wish him to attend.

Tell him to go to school and be a bad ass and get kicked out of school and then the other school district would have to take him.

They would probably throw him out of school if he brought a knife or gun to school.

That's because they live in the Downingtown school district. School districts have boundaries for a reason.

So you have three options:
***send your kid to a private school;
***petition to your preferred district for your son to become a tuition student -- just don't be surprised if the district says no; or,
***send your kid to the school in the district that you chose to live in.

I don't see a way out. The reason that most people choose to live where they do is for the school districts. For us, it was the number one reason. Some school districts do allow students to attend for a fee. I would just plan to move before my son started school if I were you.
