I am considering relocating to PA from South Jersey. I have considered staying within NJ but most towns are either depressed/poor/crime or you have the really expensive areas like Cherry Hill, Marlton, Moorestown. I'm not to fond of the elitist attitude of those towns, I'm wishing for a happy medium.

but as of now, my fiance has a secure job near Exton, and I would like to stay relatively close to that area.

here is what I'm looking for
- somewhat rural, I want to be able to see more trees than highways
- safe neighborhoods!
- decent schools
- nothing to expensive ( my rent currently is 1350, I would love something cheaper, as I am trying to save for a house. )

if anyone could throw me some suggestions for possible towns I would really appreciate it.

Avondale, West Chester or the areas between Exton and West Chester might fit your needs.
