Do you feel there is much of a difference between the people in MD (particularly the western and northern areas) and PA?

Is there the same feeling (whatever that might be).....or do you feel a distinct difference...and if so, how?

Why don't you specify what regions you are talking about exactly...

I consider the 270 corridor and Cumberland both western md, and they have totally different feels.. (Transient DC Commuters vs rural). Northern MD, you are going to get a lot of people native to Baltimore that have moved further out.

As far as PA, Pittsburgh, South-Central PA, and Philly all have a different feel, and there is a whole world in between them.

I was thinking of overall feel and maybe moreso between similar population sized places of say Cumberland and Frederick with similar sized populations across the border on the Pennsylvania side.

(Yeah, tons of differentation otherwise).

But basically whatever is Frederick/Hagerstown/Cumberland's equivalent on the other side of the border.
