warren is a nice, small town in northern, pa about 20 miles or so from the new york border. It is located near the Allegheny Reservoir and Kinzua Dam. There's not a whole lot there in the way of shopping and restaurants. There's a small downtown area that is very nice. It is located along the Allegheny River.
Not a lot of jobs there. United Refining Company is there, which is where Kwikfill/red apple stations get there gas. This company makes part of the town smell really bad. Blair clothing company is also there which provides many jobs.
the weather is cold in the winter with a lot of snow, and warm/hot in the summer.

My family lived there for 16 months - I loved it but it took some getting used to - My husband did not like it primarily because of the cold - he has SAD - I loved the seasons, the people I met, many of whom I still keep in contact, and the slower pace of life. They have recently added new stores like Lowes, Aldis, and a Home Depot I believe. Prior to that you had to travel 30 minutes to either Jamestown NY or Cory PA. Erie is about an hour away. Because you are in the tail end of the lake effect snow area, you can have snow off and on for 4 months or more - this last winter they didn't have much at all. We were there in 2004-2005 and had a long spell of snow - but I loved it - I took my daughter to school when it was -4 one morning - but I digress. People who grew up in Warren can be a bit closed off to outsiders - an outsider can be from just 5 miles away - but generally everyone I met was awesome and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Housing is kind of sketchy - not much new construction - we lived in a 100 year old house that had been converted into apartments. If you would like to know more, or have more specific questions - let me know.
