I've had all I can take with my current doctor and now searching for a new doctor accepting patients. Wanted to switch to Dr. Andrew Edinger in Selinsgrove but was told he's accepted a new position elsewhere and their office isn't accepting new patients at the time.

What I'm looking for:

-A doctor who won't rush you out in three minutes. My last two doctors were notorious for this. I called out my current doctor and he told me he had to give his time to the "seriously ill" and "dying" patients. That's bull as I pay to go there and it's not my fault if they overbook. I'm not expecting 30 minutes but I would like to know something about the medications I am being placed on and other important issues. Right now I have to fight to do that and it's not making me happy.
-Has a genuine care for his/her patients (invested in my health vs looking at me as $ signs)
-Has an office staff that is professional

Any suggestions are appreciated Thanks!

My family goes to Brookpark Family Practice. We've gone there since 1992 when I was pregnant with my first son. We all love Dr. Michael Brown and Dr. Kramm, the other doctor in the practice, is okay too. It's in Lewisburg so it's a bit of a drive but we'd never consider switching. (Dr. Ettinger was the other doctor in the practice when we first started there, then he left for a while before moving to Route 522.)
