After it is signed into law; we don’t have to drag them back into the house. It saves the back!

Now I can finally put up a heavy no trespassing sign that I found in Arizona. It reads: Believe in life after death? Trespass here and find out!

Kidding aside; it is wise to read the new text. It is also wise to wait until it is officially signed into law.

Ah yes, because they can only focus on one single bill at a time, which is why there's only ever one bill for consideration at a time ever...

priorities. considering the $4 bn budget gap, one would think their priorities might be that...I'm not necessarily against this bill, but it seems somewhat distasteful to focus on such bills when they've done little of real consequence financially.

The legislature certainly doesn't act like they can multi-task, that's for sure.

I agree with pman, though. We have a multitude of crumbling roads/structurally deficient bridges, major pension obligation issues for state employees and are still in the midst of one of the most challenging economic climates in generations. By my estimation, passing a bill that deals with self-defense in a situation that may at some point be applicable to .0001% of the population should be far on the back burner.
