I was approved for unemployment but filed my bi weekly claim and have not received money. Why

Things as running slowly. It was better years ago when you had to go to the unemployment office to file your weekly claim and swear that you have been looking for work. You may want to contact the local office of your state representative.

Post this in "Work and Employment" forum under sub forums Job Search and Unemployment you should get a response if not many bc all questions and answers related to Unemployment is posted here. Good luck hope you get your answer quickly and take a look at titles of other posts bc you may find someone posted a similar or same question that you have. Scroll to very bottom and come up 3 or 4 and you'll see it.

States are beginning to tighten up the rules on collecting unemployment. Even Biden's home state of Delaware is now requiring you have to actively look for work to collect.
