i was laid off in march 2011, started unemployment on old claim from last year then in april started new claim for 2011, aug 29th started a new job but i was let go on sept 19th, re-opened my claim sept 22nd, file my bi-weekly claim oct 2nd and oct 16th. have not recieved any of my payments yet because there is a issue with my claim??? i have called the call center since oct 5th and i can not get any information what the issue is, they just say its under determination and to keep filing for my bi-weekly claims. can anybody help with what the issue could be and how long this will take?

Same thing happened to me. Be patient, and keep on filing those biweekly claims. In my case it took nearly 2 months until the benefit payments were electronically credited to my bank account.

i finally got a message from them that my weeks were released, but online it only shows 1 wk being paid to me when they owe me 6 wks. when will i receive all my backpay?

The same thing happened to my son. They were looking at his old claim from a job 4 years ago that laid him off and not at his second job that just laid him off.

I think the problem was on their part. You put your info in and they reopen the old claim.

It actually should be a New Claim.

It tok 2 months for him to get a check it is that bad in PA!
