And it is clean. Small town America. Movie theater in town. One nice "special occasion" restaurant. Did I mention it is clean.

People are polite. Crime is low. Only problem is (shhh): it's rather boring. Wholesome. Nothing unkempt. People edge their sidewalks to the extreme.

To each his own. Nice family town, no doubt! I'm personally for a little hoopla.

Try Lancaster on first Fridays: terrific! Lively! Tiny Korean restaurant (Onions).. Mexican restaurant.. Greek restaurant.. Vegetarian options.. Several "special occasion" restaurants.. Live music on the streets.. Oldest farmers market in the country with handmade sausages, organic whatever, pastry made to go to your waist. Ahhh. Art students with crazy hair and creative attire add some zest. Someone mentioned the two brewpubs earlier.

Plus you can get to Philly by train easily, as someone also mentioned.

Denver is nice and clean. Lancaster is cleaning up, but it still needs a shave and a dash of cologne.

To each his own.

I believe there's also a really good colombian coffee shop nearby...
