Hi,

I will be relocating from California to the Lancaster,PA area next month. I am a young single male, and am not having much luck searching for apartments on craigslist. I have been to the area on business trips before, but never had time to really know the neighborhoods.

Do any of you have property managements company that you can recommend? or any place other than craigslist good for apartment hunting? There is one company I stumbled upon on craigslist, but it has unanimously bad reviews.

Thanks in advance!

Here is what I am l looking for:
Studio or 1BA
Ideally <$500 up to $600
No pets
Lancaster city/ Millersville area (closer to my work)
Hopefully somewhere close to urban areas (for convenience and social activities)

Default Apartment hunt

Hey, so randomly stumbled across your post in an attempt to figure out which areas of Lancaster were the safest. I'm moving from about 80 miles away to attend Millersville. I haven't had much luck finding off campus apts either, any interest in discussing looking for a share?

If no one else says...ivebeen told south Lancaster city.south of downtown is to be avoided. The area near the station appears to be a little quiet but not crime ridden.

Franklin & Marshall College has just finished spring semester, so maybe contact them for names of off-campus landlords they recommend to their students. Lots of vacancies until August! The F&M neighborhood is lovely.
