We're black. He works in NE Philly. I work in Trenton. We would like to relocate from NJ to accomondating city between the two. I hear that PA is not the place for black folks but surely there must be a town that's not too bad. Suggestions? We are not yet ready to purchase a home. Perhaps in two years. Any nice apartment complexes near Bensalem, Croyden, Bristol in $1200/mo range?

You'll be fine. Feasterville and Bensalem are your best bets. Even Yardley.

I would post this in the Philly forum for more responses. I have no idea what you mean by, "not the place for black folks". There may be a majority of white people in PA, but except for some very strange places in the country, we don't burn crosses or intentionally treat people differently according to skin color.

In various rural areas surrounding Reading and the LV such behavior is common.
