Does anyone from Erie (or anywhere else) have any thoughts on the matter? Good move or bad one?

As an Erie resident I think this is good news for the area and can only help enhance Erie's image for tourism. The only thing I wonder is if some of the new projects near the bay like the GAF site re-development and the expansion of Waldameer may stir up some of the pollution that still exists and cause any further issues. I also wonder what will happen when the finally cleanup the former Hammermill site.

Pretty much how I felt, too. Glad that it's better, hopefully things don't backslide.

I think it would be a good thing. I hope it means the water quality has improved a bit over time there.

Good news, but I hope it's not used as an excuse to revert to bad habits.
