If we are talking about Sunbury Victoria, Great town as it has everything that you need plus more, Real Estate Agents wise Buy from anyone but Dunlop Real Estate and Ray white as both have very poor service (Never got back to us when you ring them)and since living in the area and looking at rentals in Gisborne been told to keep clear from Dunlop Real Estate. But been here now for 4 years and love it.

All,

I'm looking at the possibility of moving to Meadville. It seems nice, but has a high percentage of sex offenders for such a small area. Any insight?

Thanks!

After you posed this question, I checked it out and Meadville does have a high proportion of sex offenders. I also noticed that Johnstown is another city that seems to have a high amount of sex offenders. I would recommend just using the sex offender map on city data or on the state police website and look at houses accordingly.

If these are the worst cities in our state, we truly live in a wonderful state, because each of these cities is remarkable in its own way, especially in terms of history and architecture. Then factor in the affordability, and beautiful housing you can buy for very little, and the walkable downtowns most of these towns have. Few states are lucky enough to have the architecture, history, and beauty of a York or Lancaster. McKeesport, Homestead, and Chester are the urban frontiers of today, affordable enough for someone of modest means to make a difference, while still being in the shadow of larger cities and the job opportunities there. Harrisburg, Reading, York, and Allentown are all making significant strides and becoming vibrant cities once again. Reading has the furthest to go, but limitless potential. There is no city on this list that I would refuse to live in. They all have something to offer, and nice neighborhoods left.

I'm going with New Albany, in Bradford county. It's a dead town of around 300 people with a median household income of $29,444. I can go through the worst parts of Harrisburg and not blink an eye, because nothing is as run down as this town.

The place is full of inbred racist hillbillies and the kids run around the main road in their underwear.

Bradford county(along with most northern counties) is weird because the further in the middle of nowhere you are, the more affluent you are, because all of the violent, drug abusing people live in the small towns. Most towns are dead and very low income. Towanda is another example of a horrible town.
