Pennsylvania's prevailing wage law applies only to projects above $25k. when that rate was set several decades ago it was worth approximately $200k. now, unions are upset that it could be raised to $100k. so what do other states do?
Virginia-no prevailing wage law. they also passed a transportation bill, it's a growing state, and no word on the "backs of workers" breaking
Maryland-exemption is $500k...20x's higher than PA's. they also have a transportation bill approved
NJ-$2k-$50k...the country's most expensive state per road mile paved, probably not one to emulate

it's time for ravenstahl, dum costa, and mary jo to do what's best for PA pass the prevailing wage provision AND the transportation bill
