What kind of activity is available to an adult male professional in Lewisburg? What do folks living there do to spend time? I'm aware of the offerings of Bucknell, anything else?

There are restaurants and clubs/bars in the downtown area. There are a couple new places down toward the river that I've heard good things about. The Campus Theater shows first-run movies and there are plenty of nice "hometown" and specialty stores if you like to shop. The park(s) often run programs, although now that the weather's getting colder there won't be as many. The LARA park is a nice place just to go for a walk and feed the ducks. If you're an adult male professional with a touch of the daredevil kid in him you could try skateboarding. You could go out onto Route 15 and hang out at Applebee's or Damons's or some of the other places along "the strip". The Union County Library on Brookpark Road is a good place to spend some quiet time.

Hopefully some more people will come along with some more ideas.

Default What newspaper to Lewisburgers read?

I'm thinking of placing an ad to buy a home/lot in/near Lewisburg downtown because there is very little on the market, or lots to build on within walking distance to downtown and Bucknell. What newspapers would reach the town folk?

I'm not sure about building lots within walking distance of downtown or Bucknell, but the newspapers are:

The Daily Item, Sunbury, PA - Homepage

and

News - Milton, PA - The Standard-Journal

I thought there was a Union County Times or something but I can't find it at the moment.
