PNC survey "Difficult economic environment" for Pennsylvania small business owners - Pittsburgh Business Times

the reality is the state is holding back all its cities and towns with its backwards tax regime and bureaucracy. rather than argue about whose eds and meds district is bigger it would behoove us to work together to help the other sectors grow whether they be in Philly, Pittsburgh, or Lancaster.

I've been saying this for hoooooowwwww long? Neither Pittsburgh or Philly can do much more than what's being accomplished now, when the State is so integrated in what and how things get done even at local levels .... Not to mention the regressive business climate of Pennsylvania. We need reform at the state level at this point, if the big cities have any chance as progressing further.
